Louisville Book Festival

I am thrilled to announce that I have been selected for the Louisville Book Festival 2024! This year, there will be around 150 authors, vendors, and special guests (last year, they had Pete the Cat!), and admission is FREE. The Festival is a 501(c)(3) non-profit with the goal of increasing literacy and access to books, which I wholeheartedly support.

GalaxyCon Columbus 2024

I am thrilled to announce that I will be participating in the Pop-Up BookShoppe at GalaxyCon Columbus, December 6-8, 2024 (I know the image says Raleigh, but I don't have the new one yet). I'll be selling the books of many talented authors, The Duchess and the Accidental Thief, and debuting The Duchess and the Indigo Child. I may even appear on a panel or two. If you'll be at the con, or somewhere in Ohio, come by and say hello!

Indie Author of the Year 2022

Twin Tales Publishing held its inaugural Book Awards and Scott Clark was fortunate enough to have been named the Overall Winner. His submission was his debut novel, self-published in April of 2022.

With the help of Twin Tales, he will be relaunching in October 2023 with a new title, new cover, and even an audiobook version!

The story of

Scott A. Clark

In 2013, Scott had a dream. A very vivid dream about heists in office towers and criminals who lived in cathedrals.

Over the next seven years, the dream took form, grew, and became his debut novel, self-published and released in April of 2022.

I am extremely proud to be a self-published independent author. As such, I created my own imprint, Maximum Cat Press, to handle all of my publications.

As I grow as an author and learn more about the industry, I hope to be able to help other authors pursue their dreams of self-publishing under the MCP banner.

His knees trembled. This was her: the architect of his pain, his incarceration, his nightmares. The nightmare became real when his eyes locked with hers. Those same eyes.

He rounded out of the stacks toward the office, which was now only fifty yards away, but entirely out of cover. Without pause, he sprinted for it and saw an immense man emerge from the main door. The man raised his arm. The one, Taylor noticed, that was holding the pistol.

He took one last cleansing breath, gripped the handle, closed his eyes, pushed the door open with authority, and made a grand entrance. When he opened his eyes again, they boggled at what he saw.
