Bibliography

As an author, it seems important to describe what one has actually written. This is my once and future bibliography. But what is a bibliography without the books?

Martin Alcott’s life is about to change and, since he’s been unemployed for several weeks, it needs to. Plagued by recurring and sinister dreams, he manages to retain his optimism as he walks into the most unusual job interview ever. Curiosity and coincidence bring him face to face with Duncan and Tracy McCullen, a happily married couple leading a double life. Their chance meeting begins his journey into a world darker than anything he’s seen from the IT Help Desk.

In the heart of London, architecture lies. Office towers pretend to be cathedrals, locksmith’s shops hide thieves’ dens, and container ports hold secrets as well as cargo. Armed only with his technical skill, a growing mental gift, and a fundamental knowledge that the Internet never forgets, Martin will have to lean on old friends and new acquaintances as he finds himself pulled deeper into Her Violet Empire.

Other Works In Progress

  • The Purpleverse #2

A follow-up to Her Violet Empire is already in development. Martin and the whole cast of characters will return with the addition of a couple new faces and more colorful adventures. Watch here and the Blog for more announcements.

  • Susie's Adventures

In the middle of the 20th century, an average American suburbanite family embarked on a series of fantastic adventures. Susie Barrows and her boisterous family traveled by train, ship, and plane from the quiet streets of Annandale, Virginia to fascinating and exotic locations. They dealt with the culture shock in hilariously unconventional and heartwarming ways. The Susie's Adventures series is based on true stories and will be accompanied by full-color photographs, digitized from family slides.

  • Vernon

Long ago, an unlikely friendship began between a mystical creature and a founding father of a young nation. The tales of Vernon, as he came to be known, weave as much through the fabric of American history as he does through the murky depths of the Potomac River. Witness defining moments of the past through a unique set of eyes and his quirky riverside friends. Originally conceived and developed by Scott's mom, Susie, the story is leaving the drawing board as a collaboration between two creative minds.

NOTE: Scott and Susie are looking for an illustrator for this book. If you have contacts or would like to share a portfolio, please Contact Me!
