The Indieverse Awards is a grassroots award program dedicated to indie authors, their books, and the universe that helps them shine! I had seen some author friends nominated and win last year, and resolved that I'd get involved when The Duchess and the Indigo Child was published. I filled out the form and waited. My jaw hit the desk when I saw I'd received FIVE nominations. The awards process will stretch out over the course of 2025 with voting coming in November. In the meantime, I will be sharing and posting about it on Instagram primarily, until I finally get the Substack running. Reader Views offers publicity and review services, and they host an annual literary awards. I submitted The Duchess and the Indigo Child, and then mostly forgot about it until I received my review. It was a glowing 5-star review that left me speechless. You can read the full review HERE, but to have the reviewer say she wanted to be The Duchess when she grew up brought a huge smile to my face. The winners of the awards should be announced later this spring, but I'd have to think a 5-star review keeps me in the running. I'll provide updates to this story when I have them.
